Joseph’s Well

Bringing heritage and contemporary workspace together in one distinctive property identity.
Joseph’s Well is a distinctive collection of historic buildings on Hanover Walk, once at the heart of Leeds’ clothing industry and now home to a diverse community of modern businesses. The challenge was to bring its heritage, scale and range of workspace together under a coherent identity while making the offer feel relevant to contemporary occupiers.
We took our lead from the building itself. A line illustration based on its distinctive architectural detailing became a central part of the visual language, supported by a rich teal palette that bridges the historic fabric with the refurbished interiors. Photography combined architecture, details and people at work to present Joseph’s Well not simply as office space, but as an established business community. The resulting identity and brochure bring the old and new together around a simple idea: where heritage meets modern working.
