One York Place
Using the contrast between period architecture and contemporary refurbishment to shape the identity.
One York Place combines the character of a Grade II listed building with a bold contemporary refurbishment in the heart of Leeds. The marketing needed to reflect both sides of that personality: retaining the building’s sense of history without allowing it to feel traditional or conservative.
We developed a clean, confident identity built around the contrast between old and new. A simple linear marque references the building’s architectural forms, while strong coral tones and contemporary layouts bring energy to the period setting. The brochure uses generous photography, distinctive typography and simple graphic information to move from the character of the building through to specification, location and availability without losing the clarity of the overall design.
